WELCOME TO GREENLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL!

The Greenland Central School currently comprises grades K through 8 with an enrollment of about 400 students.  The school is organized around “houses” and teaching teams- grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8, with each grade currently consisting of two or three class sections.

Our faculty, along with their colleagues in SAU 50, are committed to the practice of Professional Learning Communities (PLC), as we continue to define and align our curriculum to state standards, provide quality instruction and clear expectations, gather and utilize performance data, and support learners relevant to their level of achievement.

Grades 3 - 7: Theater Production Interest Survey

We are looking into the possibility of offering a theater production as an extracurricular

opportunity for students who will be in grades 4-8 next fall and would like to gauge student

interest. If your student is currently in grades 3-7 and would be interested in participating in a

theater production at GCS next fall, please fill out the survey below. Student participation could

include performing onstage or working behind the scenes.

In addition, please submit the form if you would like to volunteer.

Please complete the form by Wednesday March 20.

LOTS HAPPENING ON THE GCS PLAYGROUND OVER THE SUMMER

Posted: Mar 20, 2024

School’s OUT, but volunteering is IN with LOTS happening on the GCS playground over the summer!

Generous donations from The Pattony Foundation, Lang’s Landscaping, Lowe’s, and 60+ current and former GCS families helped the front entrance to the playground get a makeover this week!

Stop by and check out the messages of support on the patio, and look for more additions here and throughout the playground this summer, too!
