Tamara Hallee is a dedicated leader who has been serving our community for the past eight years. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently embraced a collaborative leadership model, believing that the best outcomes arise when diverse perspectives come together. This approach has allowed her to facilitate meaningful change within our school and ensure that our work remains focused on the needs of our students and community.
Mrs. Hallee has been transforming the school disciplinary practices over the past several years. She has worked tirelessly to shift toward evidence-based Restorative Discipline, ensuring that consequences are aligned with the behaviors they address while also encouraging students to understand the impact of their actions and repair relationships when harm is done. Her work emphasizes the importance of understanding the "whole child"—balancing the need for academic rigor with the critical need for the building of students “soft skills” as well. Beyond that, Mrs. Hallee is known for assembling the right people around the table, creating strong, motivated teams who consistently prioritize the best interests of our students in every decision they make. Her unwavering commitment to collaboration, excellence, and the community paired with a deep, authentic connection with her teammates, makes for a solid administrative team.

Abby Hood serves as the Special Education Coordinator at Greenland Central School. With experience as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, assistant principal, and special education administrator, she brings a deep understanding of the systems and supports that students need. Abby collaborates openly with educators, families, and community partners to simplify and clarify the special education process, making it more manageable and transparent while keeping students' needs at the heart of every decision.
Abby believes that real inclusion goes beyond putting students in the classroom. It's about making sure each child feels seen, valued, and genuinely part of the school community. Abby welcomes families to reach out at any time to share their child's strengths, hopes, or concerns. Together, she looks forward to creating a school where every student feels a sense of belonging and can thrive.
