We are excited to host our 18th annual Veterans Day assembly in the GCS gymnasium on Friday, November 8th at 8:00 AM!  There are different ways for our wonderful Greenland community to be involved:

1. Submit a Veteran’s picture using this form.  If you submitted a picture last year, you do not need to submit one again this year.

2. Invite a local Veteran to attend our assembly and the GPO’s reception following the assembly. Please complete the form linked in #1 to help us get an accurate count of the guests we will host.

3. Students can participate in Hat Day on Thursday, October 24th! Donate $2 to wear a school appropriate hat.  All proceeds will go to our school’s donation to The Pease Greeters for their care package program, which sends packages to local military serving overseas.

4. If you would like to make a separate donation to The Pease Greeters, please send in your donation with your student (cash or checks written out to Greenland Central School, memo line: Pease Greeters).

Dont' forget that Friday, 9/20 is the outdoor movie night sponsored by the Greenland Parents Organization!  Join other GCS families for this fun-filled event, including Food Trucks from Big Bad Food Truck, Cheese Louise, and Kona Ice! ****

Students are encouraged to wear green and/or white to school tomorrow (Friday Sept. 20) to show their school spirit during our first school-wide "Community Day Assembly" of the 24-25 school year!

In addition, the Spirit Day calendar has been set!  Please mark your calendar for these very exciting school-wide spirit/dress-up days.
